"From day one, the EllaRoo has worked INCREDIBLY well. My (now 13.5 month-old) daughter and I just met up with friends for a long weekend -- 8 women I met online whose babies are the same age as my little girl. In any case, we went to Disneyland together, and I was absolutely the envy of all with my EllaRoo. My daughter was able to nap at all her regular times, was not distracted by the craziness of the theme park, and was very well-rested while all of the other babies struggled to sleep in their strollers. I was also able to enjoy dinner while Eleanor slept, go on all of the rides wearing her (instead of leaving her behind asleep in the stroller, or having to skip the rides to walk her around), and could even ride the public transportation to and from the park, all the while never interrupting her as she slept. And, just to top it off, my back NEVER hurt while wearing her -- fantastic!

 

The EllaRoo also made it incredibly easy on the airplane. I didn't need a bulky carseat for Eleanor to nap in... instead, she just curled up in the wrap. Everyone marveled at how easy it was for her to fall asleep even on the plane. Of course, we still take a stroller with us and it's great for many things... but having the EllaRoo to fall back on is awesome. It truly made traveling a breeze.

 

I am certain that, after seeing Eleanor and me in action last weekend, all of my friends will be ordering wraps when they have their next children! The one I just ordered is for a friend whose second child is three weeks old, and who saw me with my wrap and just had to get her hands on one.

 

Haven't quite mastered back-carrying yet... I just told my husband that Eleanor and I need to start practicing that! She's not too heavy yet for a front carry, but I'm sure she will be soon, and I don't want to let the EllaRoo go to waste until our next baby!
